DESCRIPTION:

Under the general direction of the Site Director, the Shift Leadership supervises facility operations of a single or multi-site portfolio during a designated time period or schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide customer service interface and engages with the client to meet site needs.  
  • Coordinates work of direct reports.  Manages the staffing for all special projects.   
  • Ensures staff is in compliance with operating and safety policies. 
  • Tracks employee work performance against cleaning frequencies and specifications. 
  • Develops daily variance reporting on all shift work assignments. 
  • Compiles and distributes reports.  
  • Liasion with regional site administrative manager in completing payroll and order supplies. 
  • Monitor and ensure quality assurance through audits and inspections. 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree (minimum)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 
  • Five (5) years of janitorial experience and two (2) years of supervisor/leadership experience.  
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language are necessary to understand safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to adhere to safety and security protocols defined by the site and the client.
  • Ability to communicate professionally.  Treats other with respect and consideration regardless of position.
  • Accept responsibility for outcomes and actions.
  • Follows through on commitments and meets deadlines.
  • Must possess Microsoft Office software experience. 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must have proficiency with standard floor team and janitorial equipment and processes.
